Mustang Captures Victory in NHRA Season Opener
Ford Racing fans saw the 2008 NHRA season open the same way that the 2007 season ended, with a Robert Hight victory in Pomona, Calif. Hight led the rest of the Ford Mustang drivers by defeating Cruz Pedregon in the final round, winning for the third time overall at his hometown track.

Ford Shelby GT500KR Roars Into Production
Automotive legend Carroll Shelby shares his 85th birthday with a new performance standout – the 540-horsepower 2008 GT500KR, which begins production today. The GT500KR or “King of the Road” Mustang is the fourth limited-edition Mustang that Shelby Automobiles and Ford have brought to market since resuming their collaboration in 2001.
